
...Turkish midfielder, Tugay will leave his English club at the end of the season. Blackburn Rovers today confirmed that the 38 year old would be leaving come May.
Manager, Sam Allardyce, had this to say on the Turks departure,
We will say farewell at the end of the season and thank you very much for what you have done for Blackburn. Tugay has had a fantastic career, but the ever-increasing physical demands of the Premier League mean you cannot go on forever.
The former Galatasaray and Rangers man has made over 200 appearances from Rovers since 2001 and scored 11 times. Its believed that he will hang up his boots rather then continuing his career.
